Firm Rules:
Understanding the E8 Markets Trading Rules
E8 Markets, widely known in the trading community as E8 Funding, has established a clear set of rules to promote fair, sustainable, and risk-managed trading. A thorough understanding of these guidelines is crucial for success in their evaluation and funded stages. Here is a detailed breakdown of their key policies.
Risk Management and Position Sizing
These rules are designed to ensure traders manage their risk effectively.
Maximum Position Size
To maintain proper risk exposure, the following maximum lot sizes per order are enforced:
- FX & Indices: 50 lots
- XAU/USD (Gold): 20 lots
Prudent Risk Policy
Traders are prohibited from risking their entire account on a single trade. Any trading style deemed overly aggressive or indicative of gambling is a violation and may lead to account termination with a full refund.
Prohibition of Multi-Account Hedging
Executing hedging strategies (opening opposing positions on the same asset) across multiple E8 accounts is strictly prohibited.
Minimum Trade Duration (Anti-Scalping Rule)
To prevent high-frequency scalping, you cannot have more than 50% of your total trades held for a duration of less than one minute.
Copy Trading and Expert Advisor (EA) Policies
E8 Markets has specific guidelines for automated and copy trading.
Comprehensive Copy Trading Rules
- Allowed: You may copy trades between your own accounts (e.g., from a personal account to your funded E8 account).
- Restriction: You are strictly prohibited from copying trades between multiple E8 evaluation accounts. Each evaluation must be traded uniquely.
Expert Advisor (EA) Uniqueness Rule
The use of EAs is permitted, but with one critical condition: one unique trading strategy is allowed per user. If the system detects multiple users executing identical trades via the same third-party EA, it may be flagged as a violation. Using your own proprietary EA is highly recommended.
Rules for Specific Events and Programs
News Trading Rules by Account Stage
- Evaluation Accounts: News trading is fully permitted without any restrictions.
- Funded Accounts: Trading is not allowed during the window of 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a high-impact news release.
Signature Program Trading Hours
For traders in the Signature Program, holding positions overnight or over the weekend is not permitted. All positions must be closed by the end of the trading day on Friday.
General Account and Server Limitations
Independent Evaluation Requirement
Each evaluation account you purchase must be traded independently, with unique strategies and results for each.
Server Request and Order Limits
To ensure system stability, the following daily limits apply:
- Simultaneous Orders: Maximum of 100 open orders.
- Daily Modifications: Maximum of 2,000 order modifications (e.g., TP/SL changes).
- Daily Position Limit: Maximum of 2,000 new positions per day.
Account Inactivity Policy
An account will be automatically disabled after 60 consecutive days of inactivity. Once disabled, the account is not eligible for a refund.

Withdrawal Policy:
E8 Signature Program: Payout and Consistency Rules
The E8 Signature Program has a unique set of conditions for withdrawing profits, designed to reward consistent, long-term performance.
- Consistency Requirement: Traders must adhere to a 35% profit consistency rule. Additionally, a payout requires a minimum of 5 separate profitable days, with each of those days achieving a net profit of at least 0.3%.
- Mandatory Profit Buffer: A 4% profit buffer is mandatory on the account. This amount is considered a safety net and cannot be included in any payout request.
- Minimum Payouts: The minimum withdrawal amounts are $312.50 for Rise accounts and $62.50 for Plane accounts.
- Tiered Payout Caps: Your maximum withdrawal is capped for the first four payouts to encourage stable growth. The caps are as follows:
- 1st & 2nd Payouts: Up to 2.5% of the account balance each.
- 3rd Payout: Up to 4.5% of the account balance.
- 4th Payout: Up to 5.5% of the account balance.
- 5th Payout & Onward: Up to $25,000 per account, per request.
Payout Rules for Standard E8 Programs
For all other standard E8 Funding programs (such as E8 One, Classic, and Track), the following two conditions must be met at the time of a payout request:
- 40% Consistency Rule: Your single best trading day cannot account for more than 40% of your total profits.
- Profit vs. Drawdown Rule: Your net profit share must be greater than 50% of your daily drawdown limit. For example, if your daily drawdown limit is $1,000, your requested profit share must be more than $500 to be eligible for a withdrawal.
Consistency Rules :
Understanding the E8 Markets Profit Consistency Rule
E8 Markets implements a profit consistency rule to ensure that success is the result of sustainable trading habits, not just a single lucky day. This rule limits the percentage of total profit that can be attributed to your single best trading day.
The specific rule varies depending on your account type:
- For E8 One, Classic, and Track Accounts: A 40% consistency rule applies. This means your single best trading day must account for less than 40% of your total profit.
- For E8 Signature Accounts: A stricter 35% consistency rule is in effect. The profit from your best trading day must remain below 35% of the total.
