News Trading, Stop-Loss, and Inactivity
- News Trading: One of the major advantages of this CTI prop firm is that news trading is allowed without any restrictions.
- Stop-Loss Rule: You are required to place a stop-loss within 1 minute of opening any trade. Failing to do so is considered a soft breach.
- Inactivity Rule: To keep your account active, you must place at least one trade every 30 days. Violation of this rule will result in account termination.
Policy on Copy Trading and Expert Advisors (EAs)
City Traders Imperium has a detailed policy on automated and copied trading:
- Allowed Copy Trading: You are permitted to copy trades from your personal live account to your CTI funded account, from CTI to your personal account, between your own CTI accounts, or from an account you own at another prop firm.
- Prohibited Copy Trading: Copying other traders, using social trading platforms, using "challenge pass" services, or sharing the same EA with other traders is strictly forbidden.
- Expert Advisors (EAs): Using third-party EAs where you do not own the source code is not allowed, with the exception of the 1-Step Challenge. However, trade managers and calculator tools are always permitted.
Account and Device Limitations
- Device Limit: You are limited to using a maximum of 2 devices (e.g., one PC and one mobile). Using additional devices requires prior approval from the support team.
- Maximum Account Limits: While there are no limits during the evaluation phase, funded traders are limited to a maximum of two accounts per program type (e.g., max 2 x $100K for 1-Step & 2-Step plans).
Minimum Profitable Day Requirements
To ensure consistent performance, a minimum number of profitable days are required to receive a City Traders Imperium payout:
- 1-Step & 2-Step Programs: You need at least 3 profitable days (each with >=0.5% profit) for each evaluation phase, and at least 7 profitable days for the funded stage.
- Instant Funding & Instant Funding Pro: You need at least 5 profitable days (each with >=0.5% profit) to be eligible for a payout.
Prohibited Trading Practices
To maintain a fair trading environment, several strategies are strictly prohibited. Engaging in these can result in account termination. Forbidden methods include, but are not limited to:
- Exploiting price inefficiencies or platform errors.
- Group hedging, group trading, or prohibited copy trading.
- Account sharing, reselling, or using account management services.
- Gambling-style approaches, such as "all-or-nothing" bets or risking the entire drawdown limit on a single trade idea.
- Using prohibited third-party EAs (outside of the 1-Step Challenge).
- Employing Martingale or Grid Trading strategies (outside of the 1-Step Challenge).

1-Step & 2-Step Programs
- Profit Split: Starts at 80% and can scale up to 100%.

Monthly Salary & Scaling Plans

Upon qualification, your account balance increases by +50% of its original size, with further increases up to $200,000 per account.
Instant Funding Scaling Plan
This plan offers rapid growth based on a simple profit target:
- Achieve a 10% net profit on your initial account balance.
- Maintain a 20% Consistency Score.
Upon meeting these conditions, your account balance will double, with the potential to scale up to $2 million per account.
