Understanding Blueberry Funded Trading Rules
To succeed in the Blueberry Funded challenge, a deep understanding of their core trading principles and risk management rules is essential. These guidelines are designed to foster disciplined trading habits and prevent high-risk strategies that could jeopardize a funded account.
Core Principles of Risk Management
These foundational rules focus on the strategic approach Blueberry Funded expects from its traders.
1. Emphasizing a Balanced and Analytical Strategy
Success on this platform is built on trades backed by solid market analysis. Traders are required to maintain a well-researched trading plan rather than engaging in speculative or one-sided directional betting.
2. Prohibition of High-Volume "Gambling"
Placing an excessive number of trades within a very short timeframe is classified as gambling and is strictly forbidden. Your trading activity must reflect a thoughtful and strategic approach.
3. Limits on Excessive Scalping
While scalping is a valid technique, excessive scalping is not permitted. This is defined as any scenario where 50% or more of your total trades are held for under one minute. This rule encourages strategies that allow for proper analysis before entering and exiting positions.
4. The "All-In" Rule and Mandatory Stop-Loss
Committing a disproportionately large portion of your account's equity to a single trade is a severe violation. To enforce this, a mandatory stop-loss is required for every position. Trading without a stop-loss will lead to immediate account termination.
5. Revenge Trading is Not Permitted
The practice of immediately opening a trade in the opposite direction after closing a losing position (a "reverse trade") is considered revenge trading. This reactive behavior is prohibited as it deviates from disciplined risk management.
Account and Technical Regulations
These rules govern the technical and administrative aspects of your funded account.
6. Account Inactivity Policy
To maintain an active funded account, you must execute at least one trade every 30 calendar days. Failure to do so may result in account suspension.
7. Position Stacking and Exposure Limits
To manage market risk, traders must adhere to specific exposure limits:
- Maximum of 4 open positions per single asset pair.
- Maximum of 7 open positions across all instruments simultaneously.
8. Martingale Strategy is Strictly Prohibited
The use of the Martingale strategy, which involves doubling down on losing trades, is strictly forbidden as it is incompatible with the platform's risk management framework.
Restrictions During Specific Trading Events
9. Navigating News Trading Restrictions
Trading high-impact (red folder) news is restricted to protect accounts from extreme volatility.
- Restricted Window: You may not open or close trades within the 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after a high-impact news release.
- Automated Closures: This rule applies to Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) triggers. If a TP/SL is hit during this window, it is considered a violation.
- The Stop-Loss Exception: A trade opened more than 6 hours before a news event that is closed by its stop-loss during the restricted window will be permitted.
10. Copy Trading Policy
Copy trading from your own personal accounts to your Blueberry Funded account is allowed.
Stock Program: Specific Rules & Prohibited Practices
The following rules apply exclusively to traders participating in the Stock Program.
11. The 30% Daily Consistency Rule
For any payout period, your single highest-profit trading day cannot account for more than 30% of your total profits. Payout requests will only be processed once this condition is met.
12. Key Prohibitions in the Stock Program
- Market Open/Close: No trading is allowed in the first 5 minutes after the market opens or the last 5 minutes before it closes.
- Earnings Releases: Trading a stock is forbidden within the 5 minutes before or after its earnings release.
- Risk Management: The Martingale strategy is banned, and a stop-loss is mandatory on all trades.
- Post-Loss Delay: After taking a loss on a specific stock, you must wait at least 5 minutes before trading that same stock again.
- Portfolio Diversity: Your portfolio cannot be comprised solely of small-cap stocks when passing an evaluation or requesting a payout.

Consistency Rules :
The Importance of the 30% Trading Consistency Rule
To ensure long-term success and proper risk management in the Stock Program, we enforce a 30% Profit Consistency Rule. This essential guideline stipulates that a maximum of 30% of your total accumulated profits can come from a single trading day. This policy is in place to verify that your profitability stems from consistent, skillful trading and a well-managed strategy, effectively distinguishing sustainable growth from the results of one-time, high-risk trades.
